Dr. Frederick Hannie

Owner, head coach, and chiropractor, Dr. Frederick Hannie is CrossFit Level 1 Certified, a USPA Powerlifting Coach Practitioner, & Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). Involved in fitness, powerlifting, and sports medicine for most of his life, Dr. Hannie set the school record in the hammer throw at McNeese State University. He continued to throw after college and fell short by one centimeter of the provisional qualifying mark for the 2012 Olympic Trials. Dr. Hannie currently competes in Olympic Weightlifting and powerlifting, tying for 26th of all time in the world with a 672 pound squat (220 pound weight class).
Sara Hannie

Sara is CrossFit Level 1 Certified, a USPA Powerlifting Coach Practitioner, and owner of CrossFit Lake Charles.

Dedicated to her new and growing love for lifting and training, Sara has competed in 15 meets in 7 years, breaking and holding several records in her weight class. Getting involved with CrossFit back in June 2016, Sara has found a new way to pursue her passion and help others along the way.

Elite Coaching Staff

Our coaching staff includes the most variety and expansiveness in expertise of any gym in the area. Our trainers include 2 competitive CrossFitters, 3 competitive power lifters, 2 competitive Olympic Weightlifters, and a Chiropractor!

1-on-1 Training Sessions

Single session technique instruction for any group of exercises or tune up for technique in strength sport movements (powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, track field events, and competitive exercise) –  This is for those that wish to do it on their own but want a 1 time session or maybe a string of sessions to be coached on the technique of movements they wish to become better at or those in which they need instruction. This would be for a powerlifter or even a typical gymgoer who wishes to learn how to squat properly or more efficiently. They may not wish to be coached full time by me or to do my programming but would like instruction on how to perform the exercise correctly.


Megan Norris

Megan is CrossFit Level 1 Certified and CrossFit Gymnastics Certified. She competed at the CrossFit South Central Regionals from 2011 – 2014, twice on team and twice as an individual. Megan has a Mechanical Engineering Degree as well as a Master in Business Administration from McNeese State University.
Justin Chesson

Justin is CrossFit Level 1 Certified. Training with CrossFit for two years now, Justin uses his inside linebacker skills and training from his time on the field at Louisiana College to craft well rounded power-driven workouts.
Gillian Turek

Gillian is CrossFit Level 1 Certified. Gillian started Training with CrossFit in October 2015, and has since competed in the 2016 Southbound Showdown (CrossFit Competition).

Training with CrossFit for 8 years now, Ashley is a 3 time Regional competitor with the passion and certified background to assist and train anyone, anywhere in the gym.

Connor Sharpe

Connor is CrossFit Level 1 Certified. Connor started Training with CrossFit a little over a year ago and has progressed as a Coach and athlete quickly. He competes in Olympic Weightlifting and has a 304lb snatch, 335lb clean and jerk and is a 2017 State Champion. Connor’s athletic background keeps you motivated through each of his workouts.
