We were the first CrossFit gym in the area. Our exercise program is set up to cater to anyone looking to get healthy and also to those that wish to compete. Our classes are set up in a way that lets people of ANY fitness level perform the workouts together and be challenged in a safe and effective manner. We are the only CrossFit gym that houses competitive CrossFitters, powerlifters and olympic weightlifters. We house the strongest people in Southwest Louisiana. We offer a children’s room and also locker rooms with full shower. We have specialty bars that no other gym in the area has. Some of which allow us to work around old injuries and give us more options for those with any special needs.
Our coaching staff includes the most variety and expansiveness in expertise of any gym in the area. Our trainers include 2 competitive CrossFitters, 3 competitive powerlifters, 2 competitive Olympic Weightlifters, and a Chiropractor!
CrossFit is a form of group fitness classes that utilizes weightlifting, body weight training, kettle bell training, gymnastics, and running/rowing to deliver the best system for gaining muscle and losing weight. The classes last an hour long with constant observation by a certified trainer. Each class starts with a warm up, stretching, review of the workout, strength/skill work, and a conditioning WOD (workout of the day). The main goal of CrossFit is HEALTH! We want you to learn new movements and regain old movements lost with age or inactivity. ANYONE can do CrossFit! It is the best way to get healthy by gaining strength and losing fat. It is also the most time efficient way to reach your health and fitness goals, as it only last an hour each class.
We hold a FREE intro class every Saturday at 10:30am where a trainer will take you through a workout and a tour of the facilities. After the intro and before joining our regular classes, we require everyone to first go through our Fundamentals Course. Our Fundamentals Course is a 3-part, 1 hour each, class where a trainer will assess your movement and teach you the main exercises you will see in our group classes. This allows us to have 1-on-1 time with each member before they get into the group classes and to find the appropriate scaling options for some of the more difficult movements.
